The entry-level rye product from High West Distillery is called High West Double Rye! For many years, the rye was a combination of various rye, including 16-year-old Barton rye and 2-year MGP rye. However, the business began replacing the 16-year whiskey it had purchased in 2018 with its own, up to 7-year-old distillate. Although the High West withholds the precise mix percentages, they have previously indicated that the rye would always be in the minority and never exceed 50% of the blend.

While each release of Yellowstone Limited Edition is different, one thing always remains the same: a promise of top-shelf flavor with humble complexities. This year’s offering features a delicately balanced blend of 7-year, 15-year and 16-year-aged bourbons, finished in Marsala Superiore casks. Marsala Superiore is a dry, sweet wine produced in Italy and imparts tangy flavors of dried fruits and citrus.
National prohibition became possible in 1920 after the required number of state legislatures passed the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. In the belief that it would shield families, women, and children from the evils of alcohol misuse, many women, particularly members of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union, were instrumental in bringing about national Prohibition in the United States. The average adult white American guy consumes roughly a half pint of whiskey per day around 1820.
Full proof for full flavor. An honest Pre-Prohibition style bourbon.

Cleveland Whiskey’s Wheat Penny 1958 Bourbon is our first wheated bourbon and it’s finished with black cherry and toasted oak.
Why 1958? 1958 was the last year of the wheat penny. It was the year the World’s Fair featured an electronic computer that demonstrated a knowledge of history. It was the year NASA was created and microchip was invented. The world didn’t know it yet but limits on what we could achieve were being eliminated. We can relate to that.
